  1. The Atheist can never know that other minds exist; yet he believes they do.
  2. The Atheist can never know that the external physical world exists; yet he believes it does.
  3. The Atheist can never know that the past existed; yet he believes it did.

• Is this any different from a blind man who argues that such a thing as eye-sight does not exist, simply because he (the blind man) has not experienced it?

• Is this any different from a man isolated on an island (all of his life), who argues that other humans do not exist, simply because he has not ever experienced other humans?

• Is this any different from a monk in a monastery, who has never seen a woman, who argues that such beings as women dont exist, simply because he has never seen a woman (as far as he can recall)?

• I am led to conclude that Atheism is a matter of the Will (and Motivation). Having the Will to seek and to persevere in seeking interaction with God is key to finding him.

• The Christian God makes it clear that he is interested in people who will seek him with (i) humility, (ii) sincerity, (iii) perseverance; and that he will reveal himself to those who seek him in this manner. He is not in a situation of having to prove himself to the whole world. However, for any of us who seek him with humility, sincerity and perseverance, he will reveal himself to us.

• I used to be an Atheist. I sought the Christian God, and he "found" me. And I know many individuals from a variety of religions and different world-views who similarly sought the Christian God (with humility, sincerity and perseverance), and found him.
